John Amore

John Amore's passion for fitness began when he started studying martial arts at the age of five--eventually attaining his black belt. Seeing many parallels between martial arts and traditional weight lifting, he started to experiment with different schools of exercise including olympic barbell, machines, dumbells, kettlebells, bodyweight training and even traditional gymnastics equipment (e.g. still rings and parallettes). John also started studying anatomy from a very young age, due initially to his interest in illustration.

John enjoys strength training as well as sports like Parkour and Freerunning which he finds directly relate to the study of the martial arts. He has also studied several schools of Japanese swordsmanship and other martial arts.

This diverse background makes John a uniquely gifted trainer, blending traditional training techniques with innovative and fun new approaches that will appeal to clients of any level.
