John has over 10 years personal training experience, focusing on functional and interval based training for a wide variety of clients, helping them meet their specific health and fitness goals. He specializes in weight loss, strength and conditioning, and overall health and fitness; he’s also done a lot of post-rehab work, and sport-specific training. John’s workouts are fun, well researched, and effective. He’s a nationally certified Personal Trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness and is certified in CPR & AED. He keeps his skills constantly growing and expanding through continuing education courses ranging from resistance training program design, to training through pregnancy, facilitated stretching, weight loss, and others.
John has always had a passion for fitness, starting from a young age. He participated in soccer, martial arts, and track from grade school through college. After college, it was his passion to stay fit and active that led to a career in fitness. In his spare time outside of training he enjoys movies, reading, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lessons, hiking trails with his wife and dog, and traveling.
