Domenic is exercise science through and through. He has a B.S. in Kinesiology (as well as a B.A. in Psychology) from URI; he is an NSCA CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), as well as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer; and he's currently enrolled in an M.S. Kinesiology program and plans to enroll in a PhD program in Exercise Science after that. He is the former Director of a Public Health Promotion non-profit program that promoted physical activity and healthy behaviors for children. He was the primary author of a study to be published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, and has consulted and written for numerous fitness outlets and apps.
In addition to his academic and professional credentials, he's an extremely warm-hearted, thoughtful, and empathetic trainer who engages his clients in fun dynamic workouts. He has a unique ability to make his extensive scientific knowledge easily comprehensible and accessible, so you're able to develop a sense of ownership of your fitness practice. With interests ranging from MMA to ballroom dance to games of strategy, Domenic is an interesting and fun person to have at your side as you achieve your fitness goals.
